eCommerce Solution for the fashion industry

Initial situation / Challenge
One of the world's leading online retailers for luxury fashion  faced the challenge of replacing an outdated e-commerce platform with a modern, scalable solution. The goal was to create a future-proof architecture that enables flexibility, performance, and international scalability – while simultaneously fostering a cultural shift towards agile collaboration.

Role & Contribution
As an Agile Coach and eBusiness Consultant, I was responsible for replacing the existing platform with a modern, modular e-commerce solution that focuses on scalability and flexibility. I coached the Head of Product and the Product Owner to establish a strong leadership structure and clear prioritization. Furthermore, I supported the implementation of SAFe for seven agile teams at various locations and ensured coherence and coordination across all teams.

Solution & Approach
Together with the stakeholders, I developed an agile delivery structure that integrated both technical development and business requirements. Through regular Inspect & Adapt cycles, transparent release planning, and close coordination between product and development teams, the relaunch was implemented gradually and with minimal risk. The new platform is based on modern architectural principles and enables a high degree of adaptability to future market demands.

Result / Impact
The company now has a scalable, flexible, and future-proof e-commerce platform. Managers and teams work with clear structures, an agile mindset, and greater personal responsibility. The development process has become more efficient, project risks have been reduced, and the organization is better prepared for further growth.
