“Platform 4.0” - a Content Management Solution

Initial Situation / Challenge
One of the ten largest German insurance groups, with several million customers, modernized its digital platform to manage and deliver content more efficiently. Several teams worked on the implementation in parallel. The challenges lay in the coordination, process clarity, and synchronization between content, web analytics, and IT.

Role & Contribution
As Scrum Master for the "Content Management" and "Web Analytics" teams, I ensured a stable agile development process and the smooth delivery of digital content. In my role as Agile Coach, I also led the development and implementation of a scaled agile process model to improve efficiency and alignment across all teams. Furthermore, I provided conceptual support for optimizing content and asset management processes to standardize digital workflows and shorten release cycles.

Solution & Approach
I established agile structures and clear interfaces between teams, defined transparent communication channels, and supported the implementation of agile routines at the portfolio level. Through regular retrospectives, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination, content, analytics, and development teams were able to collaborate in a focused and synchronized manner. The result was a scalable agile framework that addresses both technical and organizational requirements.

Outcome / Impact
The client benefited from more efficient processes, improved coordination, and greater transparency in content delivery. Digital content could be updated more quickly and orchestrated more effectively, significantly increasing the organization's web performance and flexibility. The new process model now provides ongoing support for the platform's digital strategy and scalability.
